Place was reasonably priced and great value, enjoyed the stay.

Everything was lovely, quiet ambience. This hotel was set in a central area short walk to the centre of Whickham village. After long day I visited Bridle Path for a couple of drinks. My room was a nice size & high 

This venue is beautiful, very clean with friendly and helpful staff, and its location on the outskirts of a city is perfect.

The room is modern and comes with amenities like a bath and tea/coffee, while the employees are friendly and attentive.

The location of the hotel was great and beautiful for our visit to Metrocentre, and it was a moderate distance away. the rooms were huge and immaculate with exceptionally good views over the valley. - the hotel 

The location was stunning, the staff were very nice and kind, and it's only 2 km away from Birkheads Secret Gardens, which was a bonus. Rewritten: The beautiful setting, friendly staff, and proximity to Birkheads Secret Gardens were highlights 

The stunningly beautiful views over the valley and the river were amazing. We were delighted to have a room with a bath.- The hotel's central location in the heart of Whickam village was very convenient.- We enjoyed being close to New Sun Wah Express 

The location was fantastic, just walking distance to a beautiful hill and the bar/restaurant, which was great for exploring St Mary's Whickham nearby.

The room was immaculate and perfect, included with tea/coffee, bath & shower. The breakfast was nice and hot with delicious sausages, grilled tomatoes, and fresh squeezed orange juice.The location was marvelous and stunning, just off 

Enchanting place with courteous employees from reception to room cleaners. Central location, a wonderful base for discovering Gateshead.- Next to a restaurant for dinner which was excellent.- Brilliant atmosphere and great food and drinks deals on offer, like a bottle of prosecco for £10 

The location near Newcastle/Whickham was fantastic, with a beautiful setting; the spacious room was nicely decorated with large beds, making me want to stay longer and come back again in the future.

The room is nicely decorated with a beautiful view of the valley and river, the beds are comfortable, and there are good facilities available.

The location was ideal and excellent, around 10-15 minutes walk from Bowes Museum. There were shopping malls and various stores around the hotel.My family had a great time during our stay at The Gibside 

The hotel is located in a marvellous and stunning location, right by lovely restaurants. It's also close to Newcastle, making it convenient for exams. The check-in process was quick and the rooms are fairly quiet and bright. they serve a high-quality breakfast. 

This place is a stylish venue with friendly staff and it's conveniently located 15 km from the airport.

The room here is beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the Tyne valley and the location is ideal on the outskirts of Newcastle, it's just perfect.
